Why the seventh place stays on this page
Plenty of athletes would bury a seventh-place finish. It stays here because it is the most useful line on the resume.
Second place in 2022 said the potential was real. Seventh in 2025 said the approach needed to change. What followed was a fourteen-month rebuild: training restructured, nutrition tightened, conditioning managed earlier, posing practiced like a skill instead of an afterthought. The 2026 sweep, both classes and the overall title, was the output of that rebuild.
That is the exact arc most competitors live through: a promising start, a result that humbles you, and a decision about what to do next. A coach who has only ever won has theory for that moment. I have a system for it, because I needed one myself.
